Throwback: Carven Spring 2011

I never got around to posting some of my favorite collections from Paris Fashion Week.  Because I have some time tonight, I am going to work on posting a few collections that I think deserve notoriety.

Also, because the looks from spring are now appearing in stores, it will be a good look at a few trends you might want to incorporate into your wardrobe!

I'll start with Carven:

- I am obsessed with the collared dress look that I believe started popping up in fall and carried into the spring.

New Year means new ads

So, the new year has officially begun and with it is coming new ad campaigns for designers.

Last season, Tom Ford's eyewear ad was one of my favorites and this season, Ford has enlisted Abbey Lee Kershaw as the face of his new campaign.

Max Mara's spring 2011 campaign starring Jacquelyn Jablonski is also my favorite with the bright colors and parrots.

I am anxiously awaiting Louis Vuitton and Mulberry because I saw the previews today and they look amazing as always.  So stay tuned for some more of my favorite ads, but in the mean time, check out the two below.

Top six models of 2010: Number One

So, this is probably a no-brainer, but my favorite model of 2010 was Lindsey Wixson.

This 16-year-old girl took the modeling world by storm and participated in so many runway shows I can't even keep track including Miu Miu, Prada, Alexander McQueen and Chanel.

She is the face of the upcoming Jil Sander beauty ads, she was the face of Miu Miu's ad campaigns for two seasons and is featured in John Galiano's and Versace's ads.

Take a look at Lindsey through 2010 and Happy New Year!  I can't wait to see what the fashion world will bring to 2011!
