Fashion Meets Interior Design

Today I went to Target and saw the insane amount of goods from the Calypso St. Barth collection.  While the clothing part of the line wasn't really my style, I did like the dishes and some of the beach bags with the elephants.  I looked at The Selby's website today and saw the photos below from Karen Walker's house and the two seemed to go well together, so here's a little fashion meets interior design and a look at the new Target line.

Met Costume Gala (part one)

Updated!

Two words: I die.

Leave it to Lee McQueen to bring out the stylish side of celebrities.  If any of you have been like me this award season and felt that the red carpet looks lacked a little pizazz, tonight made up for months of red carpet blandness.  I was literally oohing and aahing over some of these over-the-top knockout looks.

Enjoy!

The Met Gala: Decor

Tonight is the Met's Costume Institute Gala in honor of Alexander McQueen.  I'm hoping for some jaw-dropping red carpet moments in honor of the amazing brilliance that was and is the McQueen label.  I've already seen some photos of Daphne Guiness in McQueen, Anna Wintour in Chanel and Diane Kruger in Jason Wu.  I'll post my favorite looks once some good close-ups come out!

A Modern Twist: Princess Diana to Jane Aldridge

I saw Jane Aldridge's post the other day and immediately thought of the photo I found when I was perusing photos of Princess Diana.  These two images struck me as similar, but Aldridge has modernized Di's look and adapted it to 2011.
