Get the look: Tribal Prints

One of my favorite looks this season is tribal prints.  They are the perfect way to spice up an outfit or make it more bohemian.  Here's some of the ways to incorporate the look into your outfit, whether it be turquoise jewelry or printed sandals.

Five things I'm currently obsessed with

It's a beautiful day in Florida, and I'm in a good mood so I thought I'd do something a little different and show you the five things I'm obsessed with this month.  Take a look and tell me what you think!

1.  Giles Deacon Happy Socks available at Opening Ceremony for $100

Perfect Bags for School

This fall it seems like the messenger bag is the way to go.  Personally, I prefer a backpack and I think I am getting the tan baggu back I listed first.  However, I adore these messenger bags (especially the Proenza) and I think going for a solid color is perfect for someone who wears lots of prints and visa versa.
Do you know of any to die for bags?

1.  Baggu backpacks $28

2.  Cambridge Satchel Company Briefcase Bag from UO
$158

3.  Proenza Schouler PS1 (for those with a lot of extra cash)
$1595

4.  Poketo for Target Messenger Bag
$26.99
5.  Pendleton Messenger Bag from UO
$128

Proclaiming my love for the PS1 bag

So, as I'm sure most of you know, the Proenza Schouler PS1 bag is a huge hit with celebrities and people with an extra $2,000 sitting around.

Well, I have a huge bag crush on the PS1, and I've been looking for semi-reasonable look-a-likes with not much success.  Urban Outfitters has a Cambridge Satchel Company Bag that has the same general look but with a lot more structure.

Take a look at this gorgeous bag and please tell me if you know of any good look-a-likes!

PS1:

As seen on...

Urban Outfitters/Cambridge Satchel Company...
I wish the bag was less structured and stiff, because if it had that worn in look like the PS1 bags, it'd be perfect.

Spring Trends

So, all this beautiful sunshine and FINALLY a little heat has inspired me to think about the days of shorts, skirts and tank tops that are just around the corner.

I am currently skimming the Spring Fashion 2010 Guide on nymag.com, and while the clothing is all fine and dandy for women with extra cash, I am going to find some substitutes from Urban Outfitters, Free People, and American Apparel.
Here we go....
