Miu Miu Face-off: Tavi Gevinson vs. Jane Aldridge

These two style bloggers and incredibly fashionable ladies are hosting an event at Miu Miu in New York for Fashion's Night Out.  In honor of the event, both girls were photographed wearing the Fall 2011 RTW collection.  I have to say, I lean toward Tavi's take on the collection, but both girls look amazing.  Let me know what photos you like best!

Alexa Chung for Madewell Fall 2011 Video

Ohhh my gosh, I am getting so excited for September.  This is going to be THE month for awesome collaborations like the huge Missoni for Target line that comes out Sept. 13 and now the Alexa Chung for Madewell line that comes out Sept. 22.  Her first collaboration with Madewell was awesome, and from the video, this one is looking like it is going to be equally as great!

Dr. Martens Fall 2011 Lookbook and Video

I am totally obsessed with the fall lookbook and video featuring Agyness Deyn for Dr. Martens.  The theme is "firsts" and my first pair of Dr. Martens came from my dad when I was around 12.  They were loafers, and seven years later he bought me the boots.  Thanks dad!  When did you get your first pair?

Fall hair styles for back to school

Here in Florida, school starts in a little over a week and I am bumming pretty hard.  It's going to be my last year as an undergraduate which is bittersweet because I have to figure out what to do with my life now and I just don't feel like going back to another hard semester.  However, on a lighter note, I have a goal this year to get better at makeup and hair and that being said, here's four looks that I saw on the runway for fall that I am totally obsessed with and want to try out!  I am going to attempt to do them in the first few weeks of classes and post pictures, what's your favorite?

(Also, I know they are incredibly simple looking but that's the kind of style I like and I am not very good at doing hair :X)

Missoni for Target Preview

I had a feeling I would be more into the housewares part of the collection than the clothing considering I am not the biggest fan of the Missoni line on it's own.  If you're into bold and colorful prints, you're going to die over this collection... what do you think?  Will you be running out to purchase the Missoni bicycle?  I think my favorite article of clothing is the men's looking (might actually be for men) sweater and I like the patterned quilt.

OK time to quote Rachel Zoe... "I die!"  Rodarte's new collection for Opening Ceremony is absolutely stunning, I am guessing the prices will be high, so I will just drool over them on the Internet!

Dream Fall Look

I decided to create my dream look for the fall on Polyvore.  It's not the most affordable look considering it's comprised of a Proenza Schouler skirt, Alexander Wang top and a rather expensive ring.  However, the nail polish, the bag and the boots are pretty affordable.  What's your dream fall look?

OPI Touring America Fall Collection

Oh man, I will definitely be investing in these colors when I get home.  The collections came out Aug. 3 and features a lot of perfect dark colors for fall and some good bright colors for those of you who prefer pinks and corals.  I think I will probably end up getting Get in the Expresso Lane if it's not too close to Suzi Loves Cowboys from the Texas line, Road House Blues, Honk if you Love O.P.I. and I Eat Mainely Lobsters.  What do you think?

Karl Lagerfeld's Impulse Macy's Collection

Here's the lookbook to Karl Lagerfeld's Macy's Collection that will hit stores Aug. 31.  I think the collection might be slanted more toward the working 20 something girl, which is not really my style, but you can bet I'll be getting one of the Lagerfeld T-shirts just because they're awesome and happen to be the most reasonable in the collection that ranges from $50 to $170.  However, I am all about that Peter Pan collared black and white dress, just to go on the record.  Hopefully the collection will live up to its lookbook when it hits stores.  What do you think?

America's Next Top Model's All Star Season Promo Pics

America's Next Top Model is finally doing an all star show.  While I wish some models like Kim and Mercedes were on the show, I am pretty happy with some of the choices and I'm sure it's going to be drama filled because all these ladies have incredibly bold personalities.

ANTM isn't known for boosting model's careers, but I am pretty sure none of these ladies are going to make it big in the industry considering a lot of them are in their late 20s now which is the equivalent of being 50 in models years.  However, it's sure to be a good season, and I'm rooting for Allison and Laura because I remember them having a lot of potential.  Who would you like to see win?

After a full day of traveling, one lost suitcase and spending two hours trying to track it down, I finally arrived in Seattle exhausted.  To my surprise this morning though, I woke up to a treat from the magazine world, this spread for the already extremely anticipated LOVE Magazine is gorgeous and features Lara Stone, Daphne Groeneveld, Kristen McMenamy, Mariacarla Boscono, Katie Grand and Panos Yiapanis.  The beauty story was shot by Mert & Marcus and features all the models crying, which I am hoping they don't make every single picture like in the issue. Regardless, this is awesome, check it out!

LOVE Magazine Fall Covers

I am OBSESSED with these fall covers for LOVE Magazine shot by Mert and Marcus.  These are seriously gorgeous and have two of my (and apparently all of the fashion world's) favorite it girls Marc by Marc Jacobs campaign star Elle Fanning and Miu Miu's Hailee Steinfeld.  Not to mention Kick Ass star Chloe Moretz look amazing on her cover.  These are just the first three and five more covers will be released in September.  These are going to be hard September covers to beat, so which one is your favorite?

Jeffrey Campbell: Uptown Girls vs. Downtown Girls

While I am not totally crazy about the shoes in the Jeffrey Campbell fall 2011 lookbook, I am really loving the energy and the theme of uptown vs. downtown.  What do you think?
