You can blame Chanel for this one...

As a child, I have this painful memory of getting lost in Dillards with my mother.

Now, just so you know the Dillards was extremely small with only two stories. However, I was only five, and I have a terrible sense of direction. I managed to lose my way on the second floor and not be able to find the down escalator. *this story has a point don't worry*

So, I tried to ask this lady to help me, and she proceeded to basically tell me to get lost, which I already was. So, I decided the only logical solution was to go down the up escalator.

One thing I remember distinctly is that I was wearing pink, sparkly clogs, and as I stomped down the escalator I made so much noise with my clunky shoes that my mother actually appeared, and I clunked into her arms. I will always remember her telling me she heard me from across the store because of my shoes.

That was 15 years ago. I swore of clogs forever that night because they made my bad experience even louder and more noticeable, and now thanks to Chanel they're back.

Chanel had their models walk in clogs for their spring 2010 collection, and now they are showing up all over. I even recently got an e-mail from Free People announcing they are carrying clogs.

So, ladies get ready to clunk around, clogs are officially back.
