Proclaiming my love for the PS1 bag

So, as I'm sure most of you know, the Proenza Schouler PS1 bag is a huge hit with celebrities and people with an extra $2,000 sitting around.

Well, I have a huge bag crush on the PS1, and I've been looking for semi-reasonable look-a-likes with not much success.  Urban Outfitters has a Cambridge Satchel Company Bag that has the same general look but with a lot more structure.

Take a look at this gorgeous bag and please tell me if you know of any good look-a-likes!

PS1:

As seen on...

Urban Outfitters/Cambridge Satchel Company...
I wish the bag was less structured and stiff, because if it had that worn in look like the PS1 bags, it'd be perfect.

JWOWW's Filthy Couture

So, J-WOWW's fashion line called Filthy Couture is now available for pre-order, and you can shop the website for "filthy tops" or "filthy dresses."

Her bustiers are $299.99 and the sets are $358.99.  The dresses are a little over $300 because they have Swarovski crystals.

I'm not too sure how many people will wear her fashions entitled "Violet Desire" or "Luscious Mystery," but the collection is very J-WOWW with maybe, and it pains me to say it, a little more class.

Although the collection looks like something you could find at Frederick's of Hollywood mixed with Rave, I guess if it works for J-WOWW then that's all that matters.

Here's a video of J-WOWW explaining her collection...

Here's some photos from the fashion show awhile back...

What do you think?  Will her clothing line sell?

LOVE: Erin Wasson for Elle Italia

I adore these photos of Erin Wasson for the August issue of Elle Italia.  The spread is over 20 pages and in it, Wasson travels to Texas.  The photos were taken by David Mushegain, and I think he did a great job telling the story of Wasson's return to her home state.

Annica for Elle Greece

Dimitris Skoulos did a great job with these photos, they are so soft and romantic (not to mention the male model is extremely attractive).  They feature the model Annica and are for the August edition of Elle Greece.

What do you think?

Dolce Vita for Target

I am really loving these Target collaborations.  These Dolce Vita for Target shoes are available for the new opening of the East Harlem Target.  They will be going to more stores on August 22.

I can only hope that one of those stores will be in Florida because these are some cute and reasonably priced shoes!

If you're near East Harlem for the grand opening on Sunday, I highly suggest you go check these out (at least so you can report back to me on whether they look as cute in person as they do in pictures!)

Making of the lion in the Chanel Haute Couture 2010 Show

When I was in Paris I got to see the Grand Palais where Chanel had their infamous Couture fashion show with the lion and the Fall show with the iceberg.

I was pretty amazed at how they transformed the place for the fashion show.  Here's a video of the making of the lion and a picture of what the Grand Palais looks like when Karl Lagerfeld isn't showcasing his genius in it...

From this to..

this.

I'm back!

Sorry for the hiatus.. I've been traveling in Europe with my father and my internet access has been pretty shaky.  However, because I am currently in Spain right now waiting to head home tomorrow, here's a photo shoot of Jessica Stam for Harper's Bazaar's August issue.  They were taken in Seville and Jessica Stam looks stunning and the styling is great.

I'll be posting more often now, enjoy your day!
