While the show was distinctly missing McQueen's flair for the dramatics, I think Burton did a great job stepping up to fill McQueen's very large and over-the-top shoes. Style.com tweeted (as shown in the photo below) that Burton is a worthy successor, and I have to agree.
However, no one will ever be able to replace Lee McQueen, which is a hard thing to come to terms with when one is designing for his label.
