Design: Simon Doonan & Jonathan Adler's Zany Apartment

I am totally obsessed with Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler's awesome apartment.  I love the bright and bold color palette that is very characteristic of Adler's design aesthetic.

Ashley Smith for Free People

My world just exploded.  One of my favorite models combined with one of my favorite (semi-reasonably priced) clothing brands, it might just be too much to handle.  Check out the video of Ashley Smith with models Anastasia Khodkina and Jessica Mau as they channel the likes of Almost Famous and '70s rock 'n' roll in Austin.

Festival street style: Glastobury 2011 (part two)

As I said before in my earlier post, Hunter rain boots seemed to be the common denominator for all the festival-goers this past weekend.  However, after perusing through some new photos, I realized I can add the army jacket in as well.  Enjoy!

Festival street style: Glastonbury 2011

Clearly, the predominant trend here are Hunter rain boots, which for anyone who has never worn them, are incredibly heavy.  I always seem to wear them when I am running late for class, and the next day my calves feel like they got a workout.  Anyways, a lot of these looks are very wearable and ownable for people who don't have thousands to spend on their wardrobe, for instance you can find Alexa Chung's dress (and variations of it) at Topshop for around $75.  Also, does Glastonbury look like the muddiest place on earth or is it just me?

Design: Kate and Andy Spade's Hamptons manor & New York City apartment

I am totally obsessed with the openness of Andy Spade's Hamptons manor and the organized clutter, so to speak, of art that is present in both spaces.  While I am not really a fan of the Kate Spade brand (it's just not clothes/bags I would typically be interested in), I do admire the design aesthetic of the couple.  Also, their daughter's room is seriously drool-worthy.  What do you think?

Florence Welch "Not Fade Away"

Check out this awesome video from Nowness.com of Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine lead a tribute to Buddy Holly with the song "Not Fade Away."

OBSESSED: Alexander McQueen Resort 2012

Somewhere up there Alexander McQueen is smiling.  Sarah Burton is continuously surprising critics and surpassing expectations, she's done him proud with this collection.

Resort 2012: Alexander Wang & Calvin Klein

Two collections did simplicity well this resort season and those are Alexander Wang and Calvin Klein.  Even though Wang used more color than Klein, I think there was something simple about his pops of color.  Both collections are totally different.  Where Wang embraces the edgy cool girl, Klein goes for understated glamour, but both are equally awesome in different ways.

Jeffrey Campbell vs. Prada

I was looking at the Jeffrey Campbell website today when I stumbled upon these shoes that strongly resemble the Prada creepers.  Campbell calls them "ad long" shoes, but they are practically the same as the Prada shoes that flew off the shelves all season.  I'm not gonna lie, I wouldn't mind owning the shoes even though they aren't quite the same as the Prada ones because they are probably a lot cheaper.

Design Obsession: Babylonstoren in Cape Town

This 500-acre Cape Dutch winery and fruit farm is absolutely gorgeous.  I am obsessed with the clean design and how relaxing it looks.  The suites overlook gardens and vineyards, it's to die for!

xoJane's Makeunder

I saw this on xojane.com and am totally obsessed with the concept of a makeunder.  For their first makeunder, they picked socialite Tinsley Mortimer.  She looked absolutely stunning afterward, and under products they used, they listed Bumble and Bumble's surf spray.  After seeing how good Tinsley's hair looks, I am going to go search around my home town for the product Tuesday.

What do you think?

Rihanna "Man Down" Video

While this is definitely not the most fashion forward video, I think Rihanna looks stunning.  People are really having issues with the violent nature of this video, but from a purely aesthetic viewpoint, it's flattering for Rihanna and the colors are great.  Click below for stills from the video.

OBSESSED: Dip-dyed hair/colored streaks

So if you're like me and have been itching to put Manic Panic in your hair, here's a video that might push you over the edge and force you to go buy it.  I saw this video on xojane.com today and figured it was a good time to post the photos I've been hoarding on my computer of awesome dyed hair.  I think tonight might be the night that I put a blue streak in my hair.

Paris Street Style (incredibly belated part two)

Sorry for my incredibly belated post,  but I wanted to at least let somebody see these gorgeous street style photos from Paris Fashion Week.  I'll post some more when the couture shows get closer!
