As I'm sure you all know, there are a ton of fashion magazines out there, and with September being THE month for magazines, it's hard to know which ones to invest in.  These are my favorite covers and my favorite magazines that I have either purchased or am going to once they come out where I live.  (Not pictured is the Heroes version of V Magazine that has a huge spread styled by Carine Roitfeld that I cannot wait to see!)

 Like I said, today is kind of Carine Roitfeld Day with so many new things being released on the family like her work for V Magazine.  However, I am totally obsessed with Roitfeld's daughter Julia.  She is absolutely stunning, and I love these pictures of her for V Magazine online! 

V73: The Heroes Issue Preview

Somehow today is going to be themed Carine Roitfeld day, so if you don't like her, I suggest you probably not read this post and the next one.  Since quitting Vogue Paris, which was an incredibly big bummer to me, she has been busy working on projects for Barneys, V Magazine and her own biography, so here's a look at the previews for the upcoming Elizabeth Taylor themed September issue with Mario Testino.  I can't wait to get my hands on it!

V Magazine's Spring 2011 Couture Photos

Here's a collection of my favorite photos from V Magazine's coverage of the couture shows.  The photos are from Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier and Valentino.  I always love when V covers fashion shows because their photos are alway so soft and different from other magazine's coverage.

When I was reading this article and looking at the photos, I realized that I have never really talked about Nicki Minaj on this blog, which is odd, because all I do is talk about how awesome she is everywhere else.

Well, sorry readers, you've survived this long without me blabbing about my girl crush on her, but I have to do it now that she's on the cover of V Magazine.

Megabytes - V Magazine

So, I was looking for the article on Elizabeth Olsen and I stumbled upon this awesome editorial from V Magazine.

Now, I warn you, there are GIFS below the cut so they involve motion but they are totally worth it and awesome to view.  I'll probably split it up so it's less of a shock, but I thought this was a totally awesome way to photograph spring looks.

I've never seen a magazine do this on their website, and leave it to V, one of the first magazines to get an ipad application to delve into motion for their showcase of spring trends.
