Kate Moss for Vogue: video and wedding decor photos

As I said in my previous post, these photos from Vogue make Kate Moss's wedding look even more spectacular than I originally thought.  I adore the decor and the little details she incorporated for her big day.  Check out this lovely video of Marc Jacobs, Mario Sorrenti, Camilla Nickerson and Candy Pratts Price discuss how awesome Kate is and how fun her wedding was, and these photos of the decor I found on Wildfox Couture's blog are absolutely stunning!

CFDA Award Nominees: Who would you chose?

I don't envy whoever's job it is to decide who wins CFDA Womenswear designer of the year.  It's such a tough decision because all the designers are incredibly talented, but I think I would pick Proenza Schouler for womenswear designer and Prabal Gurung for the Swarovski womenswear designer, although I would love to see The Row win.

I definitely don't envy the board that will have to decide on the winners for this year's CFDA nominations.  The nominees for womenswear and Swarovski womenswear are all equally amazing, and I love that they honored Marc Jacobs with a lifetime achievement award.\

Louis Vuitton Fall 2011

Leave it to Marc Jacobs to create a spectacle Karl Lagerfeld worthy.  While I am not completely in love with the driver/maid look he channeled into the Louis Vuitton fall collection, there were some gorgeous high points with the patterned dresses and the palette skirts similar to what we saw Prada do in Milan.  But let's talk about the show.  Normally, I don't post videos but I think this needs to be seen.  The models entered through elevators and Kate Moss closed the show smoking a cigarette.

Going Buck: Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2011

I adore the prints Marc Jacobs used for his Marc fall collection.

I love the deer on the skirts, the dresses and especially the shoes that I may have to save up to invest in when they come out, because come on, they're fierce.

Once again, Jacobs seems to pull from the 70s with the oversized sunglasses and hats, but this might be my favorite Marc by Marc Jacobs collection because it does look so sophisticated and different.

Marc Jacob's ad campaigns for his two lines were released in full today, and I think I definitely prefer the Marc by Marc Jacobs campaign staring the androgynous male model Andrej Pejic and the adorable Ginta Lapina.  What do you think?

Designer Tarot Cards

A new exhibit at the National Arts Club called "Contemporary Magic" features 78 images of tarot cards designed by big names in the fashion and art world including Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Terry Richardson and Vivienne Westwood.

Marc Jacobs' Book Store Opens in NYC

Book Marc is finally open on the West Side in New York.  The store will sell school supplies as well as books, is there anything Jacobs can't do?
