NYFW: A breakdown of the best shoes from Fashion Week

Here's some of my favorite shoes from New York Fashion Week.  Derek Lam's gold Oxfords, Oscar de la Renta's Cinderella shoes, Preen's butterfly shoes and Rag & Bone's awesome clunky boots are just some of the high points from the runway.  What are your favorites?!

Alexander McQueen Shoes

Reminiscent of the alien shoes in McQueen's last collection, Sarah Burton's dangerously tall and crazily cut shoes are to die for.  However, being a semi-unstable person in heels, I'd totally be the girl that stabs her other foot with those crazy spikes on the back.  My favorites are definitely the black feather heels with the silver backs.

NY Fashion Week: Shoes (part one)

This is the first part of two posts about my favorite and the most interesting shoes at New York Fashion Week.  I think my favorites were actually the Hunter rain boots from Organic by John Patrick.  I own a pair of Hunter rain boots and I would gladly trade mine in for a pair of those stylish and urban boots.  Also, I love Alexander Wang's metalic loafers and Jason Wu's heel detail.

Going Buck: Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2011

I adore the prints Marc Jacobs used for his Marc fall collection.

I love the deer on the skirts, the dresses and especially the shoes that I may have to save up to invest in when they come out, because come on, they're fierce.

Once again, Jacobs seems to pull from the 70s with the oversized sunglasses and hats, but this might be my favorite Marc by Marc Jacobs collection because it does look so sophisticated and different.

The shoes and hair of Alexander McQueen Spring 2011

Check out the amazing basket-weave hair the models for the Alexander McQueen show had.  Seriously, if I thought I could do that to my hair, I totally would one day.

Also, the shoes... ugh the shoes.  The butterfly ones and the black crazy looking ones are my favorites.

Favorite shoes from Milan Fashion Week

Milan Fashion Week really brought out the big guns when it came to shoes.  Especially Prada, ugh I die over the awesome platforms and crazy colors.  Moschino's shoes are gorgeous as well, I love the way the ribbons lace up the ankle.

Versus' shoes were also my favorites, I love the colors and floral prints.

There were so many awesome shoes at NY Fashion Week, but I picked out my personal favorites.  Tell me other shoes you loved, I want to know what to look for!

Also, one thing I learned from looking for the shoes I liked is that even the prettiest models have the grossest feet, so strange.

Favorite shoes from London Fashion Week

Some of my favorite shoes from London Fashion Week.  I don't know when this platform craze started, but these Acne shoes are crazy awesome.  The Erdem shoes are my favorite (I believe Nicholas Kirkwood did them).
